The Enhanced Lip

Based on an initial assessment and discussion of your goals for your lips, an aesthetic provider chooses a filler that will be perfect for you. We will use a tiny needle to deposit small aliquots of filler within your lip to enhance areas needing volume. We never use more than one syringe during a lip augmentation session.

Although we take precautions to minimize bruising and swelling, education of clients on what they should and should not do to help with downtime is an important part of every treatment here at the premier med spa in the Boise area. Swelling may be present for 1-2 weeks; lips are highly vascular and sensitive to trauma. You can go about your daily activities; however, avoid strenuous activity for 24-48 hours to help the product settle.

Depending on your goals and the filler used, you can expect results to last 6 months to 18 months. Your perfect lip may take multiple sessions to achieve. Typically, we like to see clients return for touch-ups every 12-18 months.
